AC Milan had one of their darkest Sundays of the season against Chievo Verona, despite the unusual sunny day they found at Stadio Bentegodi. The Rossoneri got their second straight negative result after the disappointing 0-0 of today's match and they come back home with two new names on the injury list: Gianluigi Donnarumma and Juraj Kucka.
The 17-year-old goalkeeper was accidentally hit in the face by Chievo's left back Fabrizio Cacciatore early in the first half and had to leave the field due to a head injury. Gigio told the medical staff he couldn't see from his right eye so they immediately carried him to the hospital for some analysis.
Gianluigi Donnarumma has been discharged from the Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona following his knock to the head in today's match with Chievo and his situation will be monitored over the coming days.
He will be monitored over the next few days, as reported by Milan's official statement, but it seems he's good and could be back next week.
Kucka already suffered thigh problems during Saturday training session, but Siniša Mihajlović decided not to rule him out of the starting lineup before the pre-game routine. The Slovakian midfielder still felt some pain and had to give up, forcing his coach to change again from the 4-3-3 he tried during the week to the old 4-4-2. Kucka will be evaluated during the week, but could miss at least a couple of weeks since it's a muscular injury.
