A Quick One: The AC Milan Women beat Tavagnacco 4-0

The AC Milan bounced back in a big way after last week’s loss against Fiorentina. Milan Women played against 11th placed Tavagnacco and put up a convincing second half display to win 4-0. Milan Captain Giancinti scored again from the penalty spot after being brought down in the box. Winter signing Thorsvaldottir also had a big impact after missing the Coppa Italia fixture against Fiorentina and managed to find the back of the net again.

Youngster Tamborini got a huge boost as she managed to score her first goal of the season off the bench at the 84th minute. As a result AC Milan Women continue to close down on Juventus and Fiorentina for a Champions League spot. Milan sit in 3rd place with 35 points - level with Fiore. There are seven games to go with the opportunity to knock off Fiorentina next weekend.
