AC Milan’s Sporting Director - Massimiliano Mirabelli has announced via his twitter feed (of all places) that Gabriel Paletta will finally be leaving the club - after a mutual termination of Paletta’s playing contract was agreed between the player and the club.

Mirabelli’s tweet reads as follows: “The decision to terminate the contract with #Paletta has been agreed between both parties. A great man before he is a footballer. A shining example of fairness, professionalism and sporting loyalty. Good luck Gabriel, for everything that will come next in your career.”
Gabriel Paletta made 44 appearances for the Rossoneri in a three-year stint at the club. He will likely be remembered for a series of rash tackles rather than anything else, picking up a few red cards during his time at Milan!
It is not yet known where the Argentine-born centre-half will head to next, but after a career that has taken him from Buenos Aires to Milan via Parma and Liverpool, expect the unexpected!
