M’baye Niang has almost been involved in any transfer rumor we’ve seen, read or heard this summer, but none of them was on the money, or even close, until now. In effect, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 23-year-old forward is leaving AC Milan on a permanent deal and will join FC Spartak Moscow.
Everybody knew that Niang was one of those players who had to leave the team at some point of this transfer window. It was clear that he was not in Vincenzo Montella’s plans for the new season, at least not as a primary option for the left wing, and the new management knew he was still worth a “lot” of money.
As reported, the move include a €18 million transfer fee, which is another magic trick by the market duo Fassone-Mirabelli, and a 4-year contract which will be worth €3 million/season plus bonuses. Also, Niang is set to have medicals in Russia tomorrow, so it seems this is definitely more than just a rumor.
Good luck M’baye!
