Milan will need to pay up if they want Anderlecht’s Leander Dendoncker

The Belgians won’t shift and will take advantage of Milan’s rich cash reserves.

AC Milan are in the market for another midfielder to assist Franck Kessie with box-to-box duties, and with the Renato Sanches deal on the backburner, it looks like a move for Leander Dendoncker is heating up.

Good news? Yes - Dendoncker is highly rated and the Belgian would be a fantastic middleman adding a lot of work ethic to the Rossoneri and ensuring there plans are not scuppered via injury with added depth.

However, Sempre Milan gathered a number of reports together that offer a stumbling block to the deal - Anderlecht’s Sporting Director has stated that Leander Dendoncker won’t be leaving for anything less that €30 million. This seems a bit of a high price, considering that Renato Sanches wouldn’t cost that much more.

A number of big clubs are chasing Sanches and Dendoncker and if Milan don’t move soon, they might miss out on both of them.
