According To Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Crotone have approached Milan with regard to a potential purchase of 19-year-old Giovanni Crociata (who turns 20 next month), as well as Milan’s young striker, Patrick Cutrone.
Crociata started in a 4-0 win against Swiss side Lugano, putting up a good show. Nineteen-year-old striker Cutrone put one away against the same side, while also impressing against Bayern, managing yet another two goals. This seems, sure enough, to have put the promising-looking Milan youngster on the map, with Crotone keen to bring him into the fold.
Milan’s stance however is for now to keep hold of Cutrone, while on the other hand, having already given the thumbs up as far as Crociata is concerned, provided Crotone are able to find an agreement with the player himself. This is the best move for both players, as Cutrone will benefit more from a spell with the first team, while Crociata needs minutes!
