It seems Milan's transfer activity is as booming as ever. Right off the back of signing Fabio Borini, Gianluca DiMarzio has reported that an agreement for Hakan Calhanoglu for €20 million + €4 million in bonuses has been reached between Milan and Bayern Leverkusen.
A medical is set to take place the following two days. The player's transfer rumors flared last week and almost mimics the saga of Andre Silva, in being a bolt out of the blue. The free kick wizard is set to make €2.5 million a year with personal terms being agreed last week.
Calhanoglu is fresh off a 4 month suspension due to a breach in his contract when he was 17 years old, so he was unable to play the remainder of the season with Leverkusen, though he was in fine form up until then. The Turkish ace is a versatile attacking midfielder who can operate on the wings as well, and has the deadly free kick everyone knows so well.
This is an excellent signing from Fassone and Mirabelli. With Conti likely to join next week it seems one more midfielder is all the Rossoneri really need, though there are reports Montella wants another central defender with Simon Kjaer and Laurent Koscielny being the first names to appear. Exciting times are upon us at Milan, and they are long overdue
