You’ve heard it! Milan have finally signed Lucas Biglia from Lazio. This means that one of AC Milan’s longest running transfer sagas of the summer is finally over - it seems like it took Milan longer to seal the Biglia deal than the long-running Conti deal.
We are still waiting for official confirmation (aren’t we always?) but Biglia’s agent has confirmed that his client is a Milan player for all intents and purposes.
Finally, Milan have their man and Lucas Biglia looks set to be the main man of the Rossoneri revolution and will link up the present to the future. Despite Biglia’s age (he will be 32 in January), it did cost Milan a premium to take the Argentine playmaker from Lazio - and the fee is set to be around €20 million.
Milan have done nothing but work wonders during this transfer window and out of nowhere, have built one of the most exciting teams in Serie A, even without the marquee striker signing they are looking for.
Welcome Lucas, and Forza Milan!
