AC Milan have made a bid of €60 million for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez and it looks like Los Blancos are prepared to accept that offer if reports are to believed, even without Gianluigi Donnarumma forming part of the deal.

It is no secret that Milan’s Mirabelli & Fassone (note the use of the ampersand there, they are a close duo at this point) were close with the agent Jorge Mendes and have had repeated meetings with him. It looks like that relationship could prove to be quite lucrative if Mendes can help persuade James to join Milan’s current revolution. James would prefer a move to Manchester United - but it looks like the Mancs won’t stump up a suitable fee.

James doesn’t fit into the Madrid team right now, but he’d certainly be a star at Milan. If Milan can grab him without parting with Donnarumma, it’d be a steal. However, if Donnarumma really doesn’t want to say, there’d be no harm in letting him move to Madrid to lower the fee - but it doesn’t look like that is necessary!
