M’Baye Niang set to leave AC Milan to join Everton

It’s all but a done deal - one revolution for another

AC Milan are stealing the headlines right now - for better or for worse, but Everton are quietly having a great transfer window themselves. Davy Klaassen is joining them from Ajax, Jordan Pickford joins from recently relegated Sunderland and now M’Baye Niang is set to join from our AC Milan.

Niang had a mixed spell at Milan - some great moments were provided, for sure - but sprinkled around were instances of mediocrity and some moments of idiocy. Niang scored three goals in Serie A this year and added two more for Watford - who he spent the remainder of the campaign with after joining on loan in January.

According to the Liverpool Echo - Niang’s fee will be €19 million, which is great news as Milan need to rake in the cash to offset their massive spend. Niang won’t be a huge loss for Milan, who will seek to make a permanent move for Gerard Deulofeu in the near future.
