Zlatan back with Milan? According to Football Italia that could very well be the case. The big Swede has long been linked with a move back to AC Milan after he left with unfinished business to Paris Saint-Germain back in 2012.
Ibrahimovic is getting older and was let go by United following an ACL tear that he suffered in the spring which might put him out of action until January. That’s bad news, but that is the time that Milan’s season will be heating up and having a ready-made option return just in time for January would be pretty good for Milan.
However, there’s a number of issues that could prevent the deal from happening. Zlatan’s injury is a big worry of course - but his agent? Mino Raiola’s relationship with AC Milan is at a point of breakdown following negotiations with him regarding the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma. That could be the biggest setback to the deal! Mino has fueled rumours of a return to Milan by saying that Zlatan will be staying in Europe - rather than heading to China or the USA.
