According to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport and Football Italia, AC Milan have agreed a personal deal with Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata - who will join this summer should a fee be agreed between Madrid and Milan.

The former Juventus striker is set on AC Milan and will be rewarded with a contract that will pay him nearly 8 million euro a season. The fee for Madrid? According to the reports it could be about €60 million.

It is said that Morata rejected a move to the Premier League in favour of AC Milan, turning down offers from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Morata hasn’t enjoyed an abundance of time playing for Madrid. He has been efficient though, scoring 15 goals in 26 games. If Morata is given playing time at Milan, and he will be - he could be lethal in Serie A and the perfect replacement for Milan’s anaemic strikeforce.

The Spanish forward started out at Real Madrid, before moving to Juventus and returning to Real Madrid - now, he’s set for a new step in his career.
