It was a busy Monday for Massimiliano Mirabelli and Marco Fassone, who spent the entire day in Rome on a business trip to meet a few agents. The pair reportedly met with Keita Baldé and Lucas Biglia’s agents to get some information about the duo and their situation at Lazio.
As reported by Sky Sport and Calciomercato.com, AC Milan appear to be interested in both players from Lazio as they plan to strengthen their midfield and offense, but the asking price seems to be high. In effect, Lazio should have set it to a total of €55 million for both Biglia and Keita, but the Rossoneri are definitely not willing to pay more than 40-45 million euros.
Milan could take advantage of the fact that both players’ contracts are expiring in 2018 and the Biancocelesti don’t want them to leave for free, forcing them to lower the price. For that reason, the Rossoneri will negotiate patiently to see how the situation evolves and make a significant effort later in the summer window.
What’s good is that Fassone and Mirabelli are definitely trying to make Milan a better team and they’re doing it early.
