According to ESPN, Milan’s M’Baye Niang won’t be making his loan move from the Rossoneri to Watford permanent. Niang joined ‘The Hornets’ on a six month loan deal back in January and Watford seemed to want to make the move permanent.

However, Niang has had something to say about that, and that something? It was a ‘no thanks’.

Watford are enduring a bit of a period of instability right now. They moved to make Niang’s move permanent after sacking manager Walter Mazzarri, however he turned down. Managerless and with transfer plans falling apart, it’s not been a good start to the Summer for Watford. Niang played 15 times for The Hornets and scored twice while adding two assists.

Instead Niang will return to Montella and Milan. He is under contract for another two years, but will likely be moved on in the Summer, but who knows where he will end up!
