AC Milan have the highest rated talent on the planet in Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Italian who came up through the youth system, had already cemented his place as the first-choice goalkeeper ahead of Diego Lopez, at the tender age of 16.

The shot-stopper has grown in leaps and bounds, having become one of the best keepers in Europe within the last two seasons.

Ever since the lanky Italian has turned 18, talks of a professional contract have emerged with the player's agent constantly in talks with the press regarding the starlet's contract situation.

With interest from the likes of the Manchester clubs, Juventus and Real Madrid, any potential transfer talks would begin a bidding-war for the prodigy who has taken the footballing world by storm.

Milan has also found itself in the difficult spot of having to offer a huge contract to a teenager, amidst it's own financial difficulties as it undergoes a take-over.

Current president Berlusconi however, has come out into the open, and publicly stated that no matter what happens, AC Milan's crown jewel is set to stay with the Rossoneri next season.

With Donnarumma having publicly professed his love for the club in the past, and Berlusconi striking the teenager's name off the market, it seems like the rumours of a potential move to Europe's power-houses have been squashed—for now.
