A series of reports has linked AC Milan’s Suso to a number of clubs - namely Premier League high-flyers Tottenham Hotspur.
Suso has been one of Milan’s better players this year - pitching in with six goals and seven assists over 27 appearances in the Serie A. Some of those goals have been invaluable.
The Spaniard* is contracted to Milan until 2019, meaning Milan could very well get a sizeable fee for one of their best performers which would change the transfer prospects in the summer and make it likely that they could hold onto at least one of their loan stars this coming mercato (ideally Gerard Deulofeu). With no takeover blossoming in the background for Milan, it might very well be a case of ‘sell-to-buy’.
If Suso does join Pochettino - he’ll be playing alongside the likes of Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli & Son Heung-Min. Ah - what Milan would do for the talent available to Tottenham Hotspur...
Chelsea, and Juventus, are also chasing Suso who could be worth a fair bit of cash for the Rossoneri. Milan fans will be hoping that Suso chooses to jump ship to England if he is sold as the prospect of the playmaker lining up for the Bianconeri next year might be a bit too much to handle - especially after the events of the last few weeks.
Editors Note - We wrote that Suso was Brazilian - this was clearly not the case and has been corrected.
