Donnarumma should be a lifer at the San Siro for Milan? Right?

Wrong.

According to Calcio Mercato, Milan might not meet the demands of Gianluigi Donnarumma and his agent - Mino Raiola. Donnarumma’s camp are requested 5 million euros per season for the generational talent, but Milan seem content to offer only half of that figure. Raiola will note to Milan and their potential new owners that almost every team in the world will want a piece of Donnarumma.

While Raiola’s interference will be damned by the Rossoneri faithful, it’s important to note that Donnarumma, while still only 17, deserves to be paid rather handsomely for his contributions to the Milan cause so far. Milan’s season under Vincenzo Montella would have ended a long time ago if not for Donnarumma.

If Milan’s current regime don’t agree a contract, it will likely be the priority of the new owners if Milan are sold this year. Whatever happens, just pay the boy.
