According to a number of sources (Calcio Mercato and Talksport), Milan are prepared to make a bid for Tottenham’s out of favour midfielder, Moussa Sissoko.

Sissoko, a French international recently moved to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2016, jumping ship from relegated Newcastle United fro around £30 million.

Sissoko hasn’t played a great deal for Spurs - having accumulated just under 1000 minutes of match time across 23 matches. This would show that at least half of his appearances for Spurs have been off of the bench.

What could Sissoko offer Milan? Well - a bit of ‘hustle’ in their midfield. The current midfield trio running the Rossoneri are too fond of passing sideways and staying stuck in the mud; too often relying on the wide players to move the ball forward. Sissoko would bring a bit of ‘dynamism’ or box-to-box play which Milan are currently missing.

Moussa hasn’t found his feet at Tottenham after two fairly bright spells at Toulouse and Newcastle giving Milan, under new ownership, the chance to obtain the 27 year old.
