Will Pellegrini be leading AC Milan after their takeover?

The former Manchester City manager could be headed to the Rossoneri if the Chinese consortium takes control of the club.

Swansea City v Manchester City - Premier League

AC Milan might have already found their new manager regardless of the uncertainty surrounding the status of the negotiation between Silvio Berlusconi and the Chinese group. In effect, if all went well, the Chinese would already have an agreement with former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini in place as the successor of Christian Brocchi as Milan's manager.

It's a tough period right now for the club and its fans, so the fact that one of the two possible scenarios for the future of the Rossoneri already includes the signing of a great coach might be encouraging. In fact, the Chinese investors seem to have a solid plan laid out in order to build a winning team and ensure Milan can compete with the top teams in Europe thanks to their financial power.

However, things could get even worse if the negotiation fails miserably. Berlusconi doesn't have the same economical power he had in the past and the rest of the management doesn't seem to have any idea about what to do, especially regarding the sporting future of AC Milan. Christian Brocchi still has one year left in his contract with the Rossoneri, but they have showed an interest in Empoli's coach Marco Giampaolo and many other "minor" Italian coaches increasing the confusion surrounding the club's managerial future

The situation is still evolving quickly and it's sure there will be updates in the next few days so, Milanisti, keep your fingers crossed!
