AC Milan interested in Aston Villa's left back Jordan Amavi

It seems that AC Milan's transfer team won't waste any time to make moves and improve the current roster despite the advanced status of the negotiations with the Chinese group. In effect Adriano Galliani would have showed interest in 22-year-old left back from Aston Villa Jordan Amavi, according to calcionews24.com, and he's considering to make an offer.

The young left back joined the Villans last summer on a €10 million deal and started the season in a great way, collecting 2 assists in 12 appearances, before suffering a horrible knee injury in November while playing with France. Amavi is a talented player with great athletic skills and lot of feel for the game that would make him a great addition for the Rossoneri, but Zio Fester will surely pay attention to his recovery before making any move. In effect, coming back from a torn ACL at such a young age could have devastating psychological consequences -- as well as physical -- and Milan's CEO surely knows that.

It's still not sure how much the Rossoneri are going to offer, but it won't be much less than 5 to 8 million euro with some clause depending on his performances and physical status. The fact that Villa just got relegated to the Championship could make this move easier, but we'll see if Zio Fester will finally decide to add some young talent to this roster.
