AC Milan’s Wage Bill For The 2021/22 Season

Calcio e Finanza via MilanEye have reported the earnings of the AC Milan squad for the 2021/22 season. Zlatan Ibrahimovic tops the wage ranking with 7 million euros net followed by captain Alessio Romagnoli with 3.5 million euros. A number of new signings have quite sizeable wages relative to some of the other starters. Brahim Diaz is an anomaly on this list as the 0.5 million euros is likely Milan’s share of his wage with Real Madrid paying the rest. Daniel Maldini is the lowest paid player in the squad at 0.35 million euros only. The numbers below are yearly and after tax and it must be noted that Milan have taken advantage of The Growth Decree tax relief scheme lowering the gross pay for a number of foreign players. This scheme applies to those signed from outside Italy with a contract of two years or more, the cut to tax is 50%.
