AC Monza

AC Milan have officially announced on their website the termination of Daniel Maldini’s loan at Empoli and confirm his move to AC Monza for the remainder of the season. The 22 year old has 40 appearances in Serie A since his debut in 2020.

He joins an exciting project under Raffaele Palladino and joins another Milan youngster on loan in Lorenzo Colombo not too far away from the city. Monza sit in 11th position at the midpoint of the season and will want to try their luck at a European spot.

Daniel, the son of club legend Paolo Maldini, won the Scudetto with the Rossoneri in the 2021/22 where he played 8 games and scored 1 goal. He has since spent a year on loan at Spezia for whom he scored against AC Milan and Inter Milan. This season he was loaned out to Empoli but missed a few months with a muscular injury and has only played 262 minutes of football across 7 games since the end of October.
