AC Milan have officially announced on their website that striker Marko Lazetic will leave on loan for a season to Fortuna Sittard. The team play in the Eredivisie in the Netherlnds which means he will get top flight experience. The Serbian striker will travel out again following his six month loan at SCR Altach in Austria last season.

He joined the Rossoneri in the winter transfer window in 2022 but has not been able to carve out some space in the first team. Lazetic is only 19 years old so he has time to develop but it is a shame he is not getting more interest from teams in top leagues.

He has only made 2 senior appearances for Milan but has 16 for the Primavera where he scored 5 goals. He played 10 games in his loan last season but failed to score. He needs to further his development as it is unlikely he gets a chance at Milan if this season does not go well. He has been playing for the Serbia U19 side where he was the captain during their U19 Euros qualifiers and has scored 6 goals.
