AC Milan face Bologna for their season opener tonight at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. The Rossoneri will be itching to get the season started but will already have some pressure on their shoulders as AS Roma and Lazio dropped points this weekend while Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli came out firing.

Milan are fielding a new formation with lots of new faces. The 4-3-3 has looked good going forward but vulnerable when defending in the pre-season. Milan will also have a number of attacking options off the bench which makes this an exciting start to the season.

Thiago Motta’s side are tricky opponents and have a number of key players who can change up the game at a moments notice. Lykogiannis and Ferguson know the league and this Milan side well from experience while others newer faces such as Ndoye will be keen to make a statement to kick off the campaign. Zirkzee was a decent player last season but has not made as big an impact as expected so look for him to be hungry for goals given Arnautovic has moved to Inter Milan in recent weeks. A big win for us is Barrow being unavailable for the game.

Expected Line Up (4-3-3): Maignan, Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez, Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Reijnders, Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.
