AC Milan whooped Lumezzane 7-0 in their first pre-season friendly at Milanello yesterday. Milan played a 60 minute game against the newly promoted Serie C side ahead of their trip to the USA for the ‘Soccer Champions Tour.’

A number of new signings were on show as Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic started the game and Luka Romero came off the bench.

Stefano Pioli went with a 4-3-3 formation for the game and the new attacking prowess was on show. Pulisic provided an assist for Pobega’s 5th minute slot in. Pobega doubled the lead with a tap in giving Pulisic another assist. Messias expanded the lead a minute later as he carried the ball into the box and wasted the keeper before slotting in. Colombo capped off the first half with a stunning volley to make it 4-0 by the break.

In the second half, Colombo opened the scoring again with a hard shot before Romero got on the score sheet with a penalty. Lastly, Zeroli with a nice header from just a few yards out to end the game at 7-0 and put a really positive spin on the summer so far.
