Milan are finally scoring again and could end the year on a high if they can kill the game early.

AC Milan are on the road tonight for their pre-Christmas fixture against Salernitana as Stefano Pioli looks to build momentum and string together some form after the stellar performances last week.

Milan are comfortably in third place four points above Bologna but are five points off Juventus in second. The plan has to be winning the final two games of the year and hoping the teams around us slip up.

Ismael Bennacer gets his first start since his injury and will be a welcome figure back in the middle of the pitch bringing leadership and composure to the side. He has played some good minutes over the past few weeks preparing for this. Simon Kjaer gets a second consecutive start but he still looks shaky and off pace thus it is surprising that the impressive Jan Carlo-Simic is not deployed.

Expected Line Up (4-3-3): Maignan, Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez, Loftus-Cheek, Bennacer, Reijnders, Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.
