The team will need to dig deep for this one and survive this tough stretch otherwise the season may be a throwaway. Jovic needs to find the back of the net.

AC Milan have no rrom for error tonight against Frosinone at the San Siro. The side have a defensive emergency and will lean on the Primavera graduates for a solution. The attack will be missing starters too but it is an opportunity for the new signings to come up big in a difficult moment.

Players to Watch

Theo Hernandez

The Frenchman is expected to play as a centre back in the newly tested system discussed by Pioli yesterday. The defensive side of his game has never been the strongest but it seems Pioli would rather put his faith in Bartesaghi on the left as opposed to Simic in the middle given that Simic is yet to feature for the first team. This move makes the defensive partnership flimsy and there will surely be a lack of chemistry with Tomori. Milan need to get additional cover from Krunic to ensure we do not fall victim to an exciting attack.

Arijon Ibrahimovic

Although the headlines usually follow Matias Soule, it will be wrong not to mention Ibrahimovic’s namesake at Frosinone who has scored some belters and drawn comparisons on his finishing. The loanee from Bayern Munich is playing on the left wing and will be taking on Davide Calabria - who had a dreadful game against a youngster from Borussia Dortmund in the midweek conceding a penalty and getting burned on the second goal. Ibrahimovic has the ability to repeat a devastating night for our captain and we need to watch this battle closely.

Luka Jovic

Jovic is pretty disliked by Milan fans but his is growing in influence and this game could be his breakout. His brilliant through pass against Fiorentina won us the penalty for the winner. He had a one-on-one in that game too. He hit the post with a header against Borussia Dortmund and forced some good saves on Kobel before being subbed off for Francesco Camarda. This game should be his, he needs to take the chance like Samuel Chukwueze did in the previous game and dust off his poor form. Lest we forget, he had 13 goals last season and just need to get firing to make an impact.

Prediction: Milan 3-1 Frosinone
