AC Milan need to avoid defeat but also push for win when Borussia Dortmund visit the San Siro tonight. The Rossoneri sit in third place in the Group of Death with 5 points from 4 games. Milan will be looking to unleash a similar performance to their win over PSG a few weeks ago but are missing star player Rafael Leao for this crunch tie.

Players to Watch
The midfielder was a revelation against Paris St Germain and genuinely made all the difference in the game. His ability to carry the ball and hold off players allowed us to transition up the pitch with pace and put their defence under pressure. If we get an identical performance, I have no doubt we will win. RLC is showing himself to be the best signing off the summer but his injuries are holding him back. He needs another goal and must stay fit in this game.
The former Juventus midfielder knows how Milan and Italian teams play in the midfield. He has been doing a good job causing disruption in the middle of the park and feeding off the chaos to kickstart Dortmund attacks in recent games. Can is beatable but his press might disrupt Adli and Reijnders given their relative inexperience. The midfielder is the one to beat as he covers just ahead of the defence and if he can be pulled wide by the wingers leaving a hole for RLC to drop into, we may pressure them and force mistakes.
As we saw in the 92nd minute in a 1-0 win over Fiorentina and a few weeks ago in the 2-1 win over PSG, Milan cannot pull off a result without Maignan having a big game. The French shotstopper has had a rough season with the injury and the defensive inconsistency but he is getting to his best and dragging the team along with him. He needs to have a monstrous performance and keep building on hi 2 out of 4 clean sheets in the Champions League so far. Dortmund have been scoring messy goals with Fullkrug but have tonnes of firepower with Reus, Brandt, Adeyemi, Malen and Haller all available for the game.
Prediction: Milan 2-1 Dortmund
