AC Milan travel to face Lecce this afternoon as the side reel from a really negative two weeks to kick off 2023. Milan collapsed against AS Roma dropping two points by conceding two goals in the final five minutes of play. Milan then got knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Torino in extra time as they conceded a late goal to suffer a shock 1-0 defeat.

Stefano Pioli kept the players in Milanello for an informal ritiro as the side need to turn things around ahead of some crucial fixtures and the Supercoppa derby.

Pioli is expected to start a full strength squad despite the upcoming Supercoppa in the midweek with Aster Vranckx being the exception as Sandro Tonali is serving a suspension. Brahim Diaz remains the favourite as the trequartista as CDK falters.

A big response is needed from the squad especially as Lorenzo Colombo has being doing well for Lecce and it would hurt for another loanee to score against us.

Expected Line Up (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu, Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Hernandez, Bennacer, Vranckx, Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao, Giroud
