AC Milan have officially announced of their website the renewal of key midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The Algeria international has extended by four more years until the summer of 2027. The 25 year old no. 4 is the focal point of Stefano Pioli’s system and has formed formidable partnerships over the years with Franck Kessie and now Sandro Tonali.
Antonio Vitiello is reporting that he is renewing at 4 million euros per season. It is not clear if there is a release clause included.
The midfielder has played 129 games for the Rossoneri since 2019 - joining from Empoli - scoring 4 goals and providing 8 assists from a defensive midfield position. He has won one Serie A title with the club and is closing in on George Weah as the second most capped African international for the club with just 19 to go. Kessie holds the top spot with 223 appearances.
