AC Milan Head Into Second Dubai Super Cup Friendly Against Liverpool

AC Milan take on Liverpool FC in their second friendly of the Dubai Super Cup at the Al Maktoum stadium. The Rossoneri were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal FC in their cup opener and further missed out on the penalties with a 4-3 loss.

Stefano Pioli is looking to get the players back into shape ahead of the second half of the season and will be happy to see quite a few players return from injury and from their World Cup duty in the past few days.

Milan will likely start Marko Lazetic as the lone striker but the fixture in the squad remains Yacine Adli who needs to earn the trust of the manager to get playing time in the second half of the season. Alexis Saelemaekers gets the nod again as he returns from injury but we may see the likes of Charles de Ketelaere and Mike Maignan off the bench.
