AC Milan Women Take On AS Roma In The Supercoppa Italiana Semis With Giacinti Out and Three Positive COVID Tests

AC Milan Women kick off their 2022 against AS Roma in the Supercoppa Femminile semi finals as the side hunt for some silverware following the disappointment of the Coppa Italia final from last season.

The match is set to be full of drama given the speculation around Giacinti but also the return of Thomas to her old side. Milan have already drawn 1-1 with Roma in the league this season.

Giacinti is not included in the squad given her imminent departure and potential move to join Roma following the issues with manager Maurizio Ganz.

A report from the club today notes that three player’s from the side have tested positive for the coronavirus and are in isolation but did not disclose the names.
