The Guardian are reporting that Chelsea FC have made enquiries for AC Milan left back Theo Hernandez to potentially replace the injured Ben Chilwell. The report notes that a move would be difficult for two reasons, firstly he would be very expensive and secondly it is unlikely that Milan would allow him to leave mid season.
Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Chelsea were met with a large transfer figure of 60 million euros or more for Hernandez but also a message from the club stating that he is not for sale. The report adds that the defender is currently in talks to renew his contract at the club until 2026.
Calciomercato.it are reporting that not just Chelsea but also PSG have pressed heavily for the signature of Hernandez but both the player and the club are focused on remaining together. His agent Manuel Garcia Quilon is currently negotiating his renewal pushing for a pay rise to 4 million euros net per year.
