That’s about 3.5 million euros per year saved excluding taxes.

Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan will look to offload two players considered to be excess to requirements in January. Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo top the sell list as Paolo Maldini looks to free up some big wages that are not contributing on the pitch.

MilanNews.it are confirming that the main outgoing players will indeed be Castillejo and Conti as the club attempted to move the players in the summer but no deals materialised. Castillejo is in wish list of Andriy Shevchenko at Genoa while Conti seems set to join Empoli.

Conti has not played a single minute of football yet this season for the Rossoneri given the stellar form of Davide Calabria and the emergence of Pierre Kalulu. Castillejo has made a handful of appearances due to the injury crisis upfront getting 5 games with just 1 start. He made a big impact in the Hellas Verona comeback win where he won a penalty and forced an own goal.
