AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli could play three formation with three varying sets of strikers in the upcoming three matches at the end of the international break. Milan have three very difficult games against Lazio, Liverpool and Juventus as they look to continue their unbeaten streak.
For Lazio: A 4-2-3-1 where Ante Rebic starts as striker given Olivier Giroud is out with COVID-19 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is unlikely to be rushed back just yet. The formation for the rest of the squad will remain the same. Franck Kessie could potentially return but Sandro Tonali is on form and could make a case to start this one with Kessie coming off the bench.
For Liverpool: A 4-3-2-1 with Giroud leading the line as he will likely be able to return for that game especially since the change in rules from UEFA on quarantine. The midfield could be switched up for his game as Pioli may play Tonali, Kessie and Ismael Bennacer to add strength there while Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao would play closer to the striker.
For Juventus: A 4-4-2 with both Ibrahimovic and Giroud leading the line and four midfielders behind them. This is a good formation but seems unlikely as it excludes Diaz from the squad and relies heavily on the midfielders on the wing who are not our strongest.
