AC Milan take on Atlético Madrid in their second group stage fixture of the 2021/22 campaign of the UEFA Champions League. Milan lost 3-2 to Liverpool in the opener in a electric fixture that showed the excitement of the side to be in the elite competition. Diego Simeone will be handed a boost as a number of players return for the Spanish side for the fixture whilst Milan still struggle with an injury crisis. This is a big one as it will be the first UCL game at the San Siro since 2014 when we faced the same opponent.

Stefano Pioli will go with a similar team to the opening game as Saelemaekers starts alongside Leao and Diaz with Rebic as the lone striker. Kessie partners with Tonali keeping Bennacer on the bench while Kjaer returns to the starting line up ahead of Romagnoli for this one. Rebic and Diaz have already opened their scoring accounts in the competition hence will be expected to capitalise while Giroud will likely play off the bench.

Expected Line Up (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez, Kessiè, Tonali, Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao, Rebic.
