AC Milan Could Welcome Back Two Defenders From Injury Ahead Of Atletico Madrid Tie

Milan need to edge away from the injury crisis and welcoming two players back is a good start.

AC Milan face Atlético Madrid in their second UEFA Champions League group stage fixture on Tuesday and will likely welcome two players back from injury. are reporting that Simon Kjaer trained with the squad yesterday at Milanello hence is close to a return and may even start the next fixture. It remains to be seen if the manager chooses to risk Kjaer or to keep Alessi Romagnoli alongside Fikayo Tomori for the massive must win fixture for the Rossoneri.

Stefano Pioli in the post-match press conference said via

“Of those who stayed at home, I think Kjaer and Florenzi are the ones we will understand by Monday if they are available, the others will have to wait until after the break.”
