Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have yet another injury blow as versatile utility man Alessandro Florenzi has been ruled out of the trip to Spezia tomorrow. The former AS Roma captain joined this summer and has been used freely by Stefano Pioli as a right back and right winger in recent games. The injury has not been specified at this stage however it is certainly alarming how many players are currently sidelined.

The player will join defenders Simon Kjaer and Davide Calabria, midfielders Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic as well as attackers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Junior Messias on the treatment table and out of the squad. Olivier Giroud is close to a recovery with his back pain and is expected on the bench against Spezia tomorrow.

Questions must be asked of the coaching staff and the medical staff as to why the club is struggling to keep the players fit and able to play.
