AC Milan on their website have announced that they officially completed the signing of midfielder Yacine Adli from Bordeaux on deadline day of the summer transfer window. The French youngster signed his contract at Casa Milan committing to the Rossoneri for five years until 2026. Milan have bought the player but he will not feature this season as he has been loaned back to Bordeaux for the current season.
Adli spent his youth career at Paris Saint-Germain, making his first team debut in 2018. In January 2019, he moved to Bordeaux, where he scored five goals in 72 appearances.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Milan paid 10 million euros for the 22 year old inclusive of bonuses to secure his signature this summer. Milan now need to work on the renewal of Franck Kessie to avoid this move looking like a contingency plan in case he leaves for free in the summer.
