Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan are in advanced talks for AS Roma right back Alessandro Florenzi who spent last season on loan at PSG. The defender is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans and Milan have approached the club to sign him on a loan with an option to buy, this would become an obligation if they qualify for Champions League or he makes a certain number of appearances.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the approach was made as the approach for Diogo Dalot from Manchester United has been a dead end with the large requests of a paid loan. Dalot has done well in the pre season and will likely remain at the club this season.

Antonio Vitiello are reporting that Milan are in need of a back up right back for Davide Calabria and Florenzi fits the bill. He notes that talks have accelerated very quickly and an agreement could be found shortly, there will be talks with the agent to resolve the matter.
