The Daily Mail are reporting that rumoured AC Milan target James Rodriguez has been informed by his club Everton FC that he is free to leave this summer. The Colombia international was offered to Milan as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu who left on a free transfer. The player is being followed by FC Porto and Milan but has also been offered to Atletico Madrid and Napoli as he looks for a way out of Rafa Benitez’s squad.
Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Rodriguez would be open to a pay cut to join Milan as his agent Jorge Mendes is pushing for the move to re-launch the career of the former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich attacker. The 29 year old is no longer seen to be a part of Everton’s future since the departure of Carlo Ancelotti hence a transfer fee could be agreed without much of a fuss.
