MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are in talks with Real Madrid over a potential deal for Isco as the attacking midfielder is set to leave one way or another this summer. The asking price for him is 20 million euros but the Rossoneri would work to reduce this figure. No negotiations are open at the moment but the clubs face other in a friendly on Sunday which presents an opportunity for the deal to be discussed.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan are assessing the situation of Isco and working to see if we would be a good fit for the team. The 29 year old has lots of experience but has struggled with injury and inconsistency over the years. The salary of the player would be a major stumbling block as he currently earns 6.5 million euros per year.

Mirko Calemme of AS spoke to MilanNews.it to say:

“Isco is a great opportunity for Milan, because we are talking about a player who in Serie A could make the difference if he managed to find continuity and physical condition. Real Madrid has let Isco know that he must leave as he is out of Ancelotti’s project.”
