AC Milan on their website have officially announced the signing of Frenchman Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea FC on a two year loan with an option to buy.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that he will join on a two year paid loan with an option to buy set at 15 million euros. He extended his deal with Chelsea until 2024 to facilitate the move to Milan. The midfielder has reportedly taken a pay cut to get the deal done as well.
Antonio Vitiello is reporting the midfielder undertook his medicals yesterday after landing in Milan on Saturday night. He signed his contract at Casa Milan this morning and will join the squad in training over the international break looking to make an opening appearance thereafter.
Bakayoko played 42 games for Milan in the 2018/19 season under Gennaro Gattuso where he scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist. This season he will be the fourth midfielder in the rotation of Stefano Pioli covering for Kessie and Bennacer alongside Tonali.
