Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Manchester United need to clarify the situation for right back Diogo Dalot this summer as he is wanted by AC Milan and the player would favour a move given his place at the club is not clear. United are also reportedly interested in Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid but the player cannot arrive unless Dalot leaves. United want a 4-5 million paid loan with an option to buy to allow the Rossoneri to take Dalot. The player was used by Stefano Pioli to cover both the right back and left back roles and was occassionally used further up as a right winger too.
Dalot spoke on his experience at Milan via Calcio Mercato to say:
“It was perfect, my goal was to put minutes on my legs and get back in shape, and I succeeded. I was one of the few AC Milan players who was available for all matches. I met some great people in Milan and it was very nice.
“Each season you learn more, not just about yourself, but about life, football and other experiences as well. The chance to play in such an important league has given me a lot, not only from a footballing point of view, but also for my life itself. I am very happy with what I did last season.”
