AC Milan face Cagliari at home for their second fixture of the 2021/22 season of Serie A football. The Rossoneri will be playing their first home game of the season and the first home game with fans since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Milan will line up similarly to their opening game against Sampdoria including Rade Krunic at the heart of the midfield. Cagliari will be relying on Joao Pedro as they did in the opening game and most of last season hence Fikayo Tomori will need to be aggressive.

This will be a defensive oriented game so it will be important to see what space Leao and Saelemaekers can open up and how Giroud can exploit it. Diaz will have a lot of pressure to unlock the defense so it will be good to see how he deals with this.

Expected Line Up (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez, Krunic, Tonali, Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao, Giroud.
