AC Milan on their website have officially announced that young midfielder Tommaso Pobega has been loan to Torino FC for the upcoming season. The Primavera product spent last season on loan with Spezia where he was an influential player scoring 6 goals from a central midfield role. This will be his second loan spell in Serie A following impressive displays at Pordenone in Serie B and Spezia in Serie A thus far.
The player was chased by numerous clubs this summer including Spezia, Udinese and Cagliari but Torino have won the race for the player. He will need to develop further but the management clearly have faith in him as they have not included any potential options to buy him permanently.
Pobega featured in the pre season for the Rossoneri ans was kept until the last minute as a potential fourth midfielder for Stefano Pioli. He only departs following the news that Tiemoue Bakayoko will return to Milan from Chelsea FC this weekend.
