Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan met with the agents of FC Porto winger Jesus Corona and found an agreement on personal terms with the player. The 28 year old attacker could be an important option for the Rossoneri as they look to reinforce ahead of their return to the Champions League. Milan have offered 10 million euros for the player but Porto want 17 million euros for him as 40% of the sale fee will go to FC Twente. 15 million may be the magic number to satisfy both parties.
MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan are looking to take advantage of the expiring contract of the player hence negotiate a lower fee. The Mexico international also fits well as he holds a Portuguese passport thus would not take up a non-EU spot.
It remains to be seen if Milan being in the same group as Porto in the UCL affects negotiations in any way.
