MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been frustrated by the case of Samu Castillejo all summer long as numerous offers have arrived for the right winger but no one is willing to pay for the player outright. There has been reported interest from Real Betis, Espanyol, Valencia and Sevilla but only for loans. The 26 year old is on the chopping block at Milan for underperforming and Getafe have emerged as the likely destination if a deal miraculously is forced through in the final days of the market.

Tuttosport via MilanLive.it are reporting that Getafe despite wanting a loan initially could offer to buy the Spanish attacker for 8 million euros if they close the sale of Marc Cucurella to Brighton. The deal would be worth 18 million euros hence they could easily finance the deal for Castillejo to return to La Liga. Neither the player nor the club want a loan deal hence a permanent offer would be needed to Castillejo to leave.
