AC Milan finished 2nd in the 2020/21 Serie A season signalling a long awaited return to Europe’s elite competition, the UEFA Champions League after a long seven years. Milan last featured in the 2013/14 campaign when Kaka still played at the club alongside Mario Balotelli donning a gold Adidas third kit. Milan have played in the UEFA Europa League for three seasons but were excluded once due to an agreement over FFP breaches.

The draw for the group stages of the upcoming UCL campaign for 2021/22 took place in Istanbul this evening and there are numerous signals around our return. Milan received a very harsh draw and are easily in the Group of Death of the competition.

Milan were seeded into Group B alongside former champions Liverpool FC, the winners of La Liga in Atlético Madrid and the Portuguese heavyweights FC Porto for the group stage.
