AC Milan’s Return To The Champions League Begins Tonight With Group Stage Draw

Milan could be staring at a group of death but it is sweet to be back to the UCL.

The UEFA Champions League draw for the 2021/22 season takes place this evening at 18:00 CET in Istanbul. AC Milan return to the competition after a seven year absence despite being the second most decorate club in the history of the competition with 7 titles. The Rossoneri finished the league in 2nd place last season securing the spot but will enter the draw in the lowest pot, pot 4 as the club’s coefficient took a hit with the extended absence. The first matchday of the competition will be on the 14th and 15th of September 2021.

The draw will have 32 teams, 26 directly entering and 6 through the qualifiers. Here are the pots for the draw:
